The Earth

The Earth is very important part of our everyday lives. We take advantage of the Earth everyday. We don’t think about some of the things that we do that hurt the earth. From the past to the future that’s what it will be. Whether we are here or not, everything falls. Whether the Earth burns from the past or the future, whether the Earth shakes & rolls; only you can stop it all from happening. Only you can save the Earth. Only you can stop the Earth’s destruction & all the problems that will come from being in the future.

Endangered Animals
These are but a few of the 10797 and there are still more
Endangered animal:

Pollution
There is many different types of pollution. For Ex:
Exhaust from car and other vehicle emissions are a very bad problem in today’s society.

Clear cutting
Clear cutting can have major negative impacts, both for humans and local flora and fauna.
Types: Standard clear-cut – removal of every stem, so no canopy remains.
Patch clear-cut – removal of all the stems in a limited, predetermined area.
Strip clear-cut – removal of all the stems in a row, usually placed perpendicular to the prevailing winds in order to minimize the possibility of wind throw.
Clear cutting-with-reserves – removal of the majority of standing stems save a few reserved for other purposes.
Slash-and-burn – the permanent conversion of tropical and subtropical forests for agricultural purposes. This is most prevalent in tropical and subtropical forests in overpopulated regions in developing and least developed countries. Slash-and-burn entails the removal of all stems in a particular area. This is a form of deforestation, because the land is converted to other uses.

The Greenhouse Effect
the natural greenhouse, without which there would be no life on earth, and the enhanced greenhouse effect which has been largely caused by human behavior.
The natural greenhouse effect means that we do not getting widely varying surface temperatures as some of the other planets do, so that living things can survive.
This animation explains really well how it works

Renewable & Nonrenewable Resources
Human activities can affect the quality & supply of renewable resources such as land, forests, fisheries, air, & fresh water
Renewable & Nonrenewable Resources
There are some things that cannot be renewed, that will take along time to come back.

What we can do to help
1.You can do Earth Hour, Earth day
2.Joining groups that go on nature walks
3.Join runs that help raises money for clean up days
4.Clean up the beach
5.Just pick up your trash
6.Turn out your lights when your not using them
7.Walk instead of getting a ride or carpool
8.Use less water
9.Recycle
